About Us
Samascott Orchards is a fourth-generation, family-owned farm in Kinderhook, New York, with roots dating back more than a century.
Today, we grow hundreds of varieties of fruits and vegetables - from sweet strawberries and kiwi berries to crisp peas and hot peppers - with apples remaining our signature crop.
Our farm is open seasonally for Pick-Your-Own from mid-June through October, welcoming families and visitors to experience the harvest firsthand.
Using controlled-atmosphere storage that carefully regulates temperature, humidity, and other conditions, we keep our apples fresh long after the harvest season, so you can enjoy them for months to come.
You can also find us year-round at New York City farmers' markets five days a week, where we offer fresh apples, cider, eggs, meat, baked goods, and seasonal produce.
Just under a mile from the orchard, you'll find Samascott's Garden Market, our year-round farm store and garden center. Stop in for homemade ice cream, fresh produce, prepared foods, plants, gifts, and much more.
Whether you visit the orchard, the market, or one of our farmers' market stands, we're grateful to share the fruits of our family's work with yours.
