Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is your farm organic?

A: We are not certified organic. However, we do follow low-spray and Integrated Pest Management (IPM)* practices across most of our farm. We also have a small area outside of our pick-your-own fields where we are growing organic apple trees.

*Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an approach that uses a combination of natural and low-toxicity methods, such as crop rotation and beneficial insects, to manage pests. The goal is not to eliminate all pests, but to create a healthy, balanced ecosystem where plants can thrive.

Q: Should I wash my produce before I eat it?

A: Yes, we always recommend washing produce before eating, no matter where it comes from. Please also remember that all produce must be paid for before it is eaten.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted on the farm due to federal health and safety regulations.

Q: Can we have a picnic?

A: We’re not able to allow picnics or BBQs on the farm. Once you’ve checked out and paid for your produce, you’re welcome to relax at our picnic tables near the farm store.

Q: Do you have bathrooms?

A: Yes! Bathrooms are available inside our farm store, and additional porta-potties are located throughout the orchard for your convenience.

Q: Do you offer hayrides?

A: At this time, we do not offer hayrides, but we appreciate your interest!

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash. We are unable to accept personal checks, EBT, or Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons.
